They provide data on public fire protection for fire insurance statistical and underwriting evaluation. In 2024, FUS assessed Kitchener’s fire defense for fire insurance grading and WebFire Underwriters Survey collects information on public fire protection efforts in communities all across Canada. In each of those communities, FUS analyzes the relevant data using our Classification Standard for Public Fire Protection (CSPFP). The applicable PFPC from 1 to 10 is then assigned to the community.
