WebApr 21, 2024 · Hi all, I have just installed an RX 6700 XT graphics card into my setup, but I get no signal to the monitor whatsoever. Specifically, it's a Gigabyte Aorus Elite version. Previously I had a Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super installed, and it worked flawlessly. Even now, if I swap it back in place of the new RX 6700 XT, the system behaves perfectly. WebSwitched back to old card and no problem. Found out it's actually a firmware issue on the GPU. Nvidia has a fix for it, but I'm surprised they aren't being more vocal about letting people know what's wrong. Has to do with booting with no driver as you would have to do when you first installed a card.
