WebUMBC announced the creation of a new Inclusion Council on June 30, 2024, and immediately began work to identify short- and long-term goals and recommendations. The Inclusion Council works closely with the Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI) in an advisory capacity and also strives to create a space for community discussion of DEI issues. WebThe Council should involve all of the Commissioners that comprise the Governor’s Cabinet in its work, as their visible strong leadership is critical to establishing and achieving the Council’s diversity, inclusion, and equity goals.
