WebMECSH was designed in Australia to provide structured support to families at risk of poorer maternal and child health development outcomes, delivered by the health visiting service. It has already been implemented in the south of England with Bradford being the first site in the north to implement it. WebTo determine the impact of the MECSH-UK programme on outcomes for vulnerable families and children, using administrative, routine and parent self-report data. The hypothesis is that children born to vulnerable mothers receiving MECSH will have significantly better child, maternal and family outcomes than those receiving usual care.
